Job Description
Are you a test engineer that is excited to support the MQ-25 test community? Then come aboard AMERICAN SYSTEMS as our next Test Engineer, Journeyman!
As a Test Engineer, Journey you will :
- Join an engaged, 100% employee-owned company
- Perform unit, functional, system, integration, and user case testing on MQ-25 systems and software interfaces.
- Develop test plans in accordance with MQ-25 PMA guidance
- Use the selected defect tracking and test case management systems to document test sets, record defects, and record test case execution results.
- Work with the software development team to troubleshoot and remediate issues in development, test, and production environments.
- Analyze and understand the development environment, architecture, and inter dependencies to determine and apply appropriate test methodologies and cases relative to applications being tested.
- Investigate alternatives and technologies to improve test coverage and test automation.
- Demonstrate a basic understanding of the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC).
- Have strong problem solving, debugging / troubleshooting, and negotiating skills.
Job Requirements
- Must have an Active Secret clearance.
- Minimum of 3-10 years of test experience and / or aircraft system interface experience.
- Bachelor's degree in Discipline relevant to functional description or a technical degree.

AMERICAN SYSTEMS is committed to pay transparency for our applicants and employee-owners. The salary range for this position is $75k - $126k.
Actual compensation will be determined based on several factors permitted by law.
