Our esteemed client is seeking a dedicated Mac Support Engineer to join their team in Chicago, IL on a 12 month contract to hire.
The ideal candidate will bring broad technical skills, a collaborative mindset, and a deep commitment to supporting end-users.
You'll play a pivotal role in delivering a seamless IT experience in a Mac-oriented office while assisting in a gradual transition to Windows machines.
Roles & Responsibilities :
- Deliver Level 1 and 2 technical support to 60-70 end-users and two executives.
- Handle break / fix tasks efficiently, assisting in troubleshooting hardware and software issues.
- Serve as primary contact for IT issues, mitigating any potential IT disruptions.
- Provide comprehensive support for IOS phones, Google Workspace, and ServiceNow.
- Manage transitions, setups, and maintenance related to Google Meets, particularly in conference settings.
- Collaborate closely with broader teams to deploy new solutions and improve existing processes.
Preferred Skills & Requirements :
- 3-4 years of experience in IT Support role, with specific exposure to MacOS.
- Proficiency in using Google Workspace, Slack, Okta, and ServiceNow is a distinct advantage.
- Ability to resolve technical issues effectively and respond to IT requests promptly.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills to interact comfortably with executives and staff at various levels.
- Self-starter with the drive to work independently, displaying initiative and problem-solving skills.
