Summary
The Technical Writer in the Cloud Enablement Team (CET), will be responsible for creating, editing, and maintaining technical documentation for various cloud services and solutions.
The Technical Writer - Cloud Enablement will work closely with engineers, architects, product managers, and other stakeholders to understand the technical requirements and best practices for cloud customers.
This position will use writing skills and technical knowledge to produce clear, concise, and accurate content that helps customers achieve their cloud goals.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities
- Write, review, and update technical documentation for cloud services and solutions, such as user guides, tutorials, reference manuals, FAQs, whitepapers, etc.
- Ensure that the documentation is consistent, accurate, and adheres to the cloud style guide and standards.
- Collaborate with the CET team and other subject matter experts to gather feedback and incorporate it into the documentation.
- Use various tools and platforms to create, publish, and manage the documentation, such as Markdown, Git, HTML, etc.
- Research and learn new cloud technologies and features and keep up to date with the latest developments and trends in the cloud industry.
Qualifications
- Excellent writing, editing, and communication skills, with a keen eye for detail and quality.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
Education & Experience
- Minimum Required : Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Technical Communication, or a related field, or equivalent work experience.
- Minimum Required : 3+ years of experience as a Technical Writer in the IT or Cloud domain.
Systems & Technology
- Strong technical background and knowledge of cloud services and solutions, such as EC2, S3, Lambda, Cloud Formation, etc.
- Experience with agile methodologies and tools, such as Scrum, Jira, etc.
- Familiarity with AWS or other cloud technologies is a plus.
