Headquartered in Houston, Texas, Texas Petroleum Group (TPG) is a retail fuel company managing 300 retail gas stations in Texas with a variety of commercial constructs.
Operating under the Tradename Timewise the team has a strong legacy of operating excellence in the Texas market and takes pride in their customer service and bottom-line focus.
Recently acquired by Shell, Texas Petroleum Group is being operated independently as a wholly owned subsidiary and entering a phase of significant transformation and growth.
Essential Functions and Responsibilities :
- Prepare and direct preparation of food served using established production procedures and systems
- Determine amount and type of food and supplies required using production systems
- Ensure availability of supplies and food or approved substitutions in adequate time for preparation
- Comply with established sanitation standards, personal hygiene, and health standards
- Observe proper food preparation and handling techniques
- Responsible for training Grill Assistant Manager, and Grill employees
- Store food properly and safely, marking date and item
- Request necessary equipment repair and maintenance
- Oversee the cleanup of work area and provide inspection
- Able to work with a diverse group of people
- Customer service oriented
- Positive and friendly attitude
- Perform other duties as assigned
Working Conditions and Physical Effort :
- Ability to regularly stand for long periods of time to provide customer service
- Ability to reach, lift, bend, kneel, stoop, push and pull items weighing up to 50 pounds
- Work area contains increased heat levels for extended periods of time
- Must use cleaning chemicals and sprays to clean work area
