Machine Operator

Contract Duration Months

Essential Duties and Responsibilities :

  • The Machine Operator monitors the functions of equipment and operates per documented procedures including maintaining operational logbooks
  • Provide technicians with symptoms of equipment failures, when required
  • Support material handling as necessary
  • Maintain segregation of materials and lot and or receiving numbers
  • Maintain area in a clean and orderly condition
  • Adhere to and demonstrate compliance to all company and department standard operating procedures including but not limited to GMP, device history record, hazard communication, and safety rules
  • Utilize written procedures and training to accomplish the tasks noted above
  • Accept full accountability for product quality
  • Report to supervisor or management unsolved problems encountered during the workday
  • Maintain complete and accurate records of work-in-process, component inventories, and relative documentation
  • Under the direction of the Manufacturing Supervisor, the Machine Operator will ensure the smooth operation of the manufacturing equipment according to established specifications, and standard operating procedures and work instructions.
  • The Machine Operator must demonstrate steady progress in learning all equipment and jobs in the assigned manufacturing area.
  • He and / or she must also exhibit the ability to follow the instructions of the supervisor while observing the quality of raw and finished goods before, during, and after production.

Required Education :

High school graduate or equivalent.

Other Information :

  • The candidate must be able to stand by packaging and labeling the product.
  • Ensure the smooth operation of the production line. The candidate will not be responsible for running or operating the production line.
  • Support material handling as necessary. Does not require the use of a forklift or power jack.
  • Lifting / moving and carrying products weighing up to pounds
  • Candidate supporting a closed production line. No physical contact with hazardous materials or chemicals.
  • Safety glasses, hair nets, and gloves were provided. Candidate must provide steel or composite shoes / boots.
  • Must be able to adhere to shift start times and with excellent attendance and punctuality.
  • Prior manufacturing experience is not required. Training will be provided.

Note :

  • Shift : st shift, am - : pm
  • Worksite : Londonderry, NH (% onsite only)
  • Initially three months, with the potential for converting to an FTE based on business need, budget approval, and performance.
