$500 sign on bonus ($250 at the completion of first week of training and $250 after successful completion of first 90 days)

Position : Job Developer - Full Time

Location : Peabody, MA

Rate of Pay : $19.55 per hour; plus a $40 additional bi-weekly stipend for fluency in Spanish

Schedule : 40 Hours per week; Monday-Friday, 8 : 30am-4 : 30pm with flexible Hybrid Options

Summary :

  • Support individuals with disabilities in reaching their vocational goals
  • Case manage and develop employment relationships between clients and community employers, providing access to an array of employment, job training, and educational opportunities.
  • Work closely with State funding sources in a collaborative team approach.
  • Assist clients with a variety of job seeking skills; resume writing, interview skills, travel training and job etiquette.
  • Get creative with providing; vocational guidance, job development, job placement, job coaching and customer relations with employer.

Qualifications :

  • High School / GED or Hi-SET plus 1-2 years related experience OR Associate’s degree plus 1 year related experience and / or training.
  • One year of human service experience desired.
  • Knowledge of and respect for diverse populations.

Requirements :

  • Ability to read, write, and speak Spanish fluently preferred, but not required
  • Ability to use computers to include Microsoft Word, data entry, email, and internet essential.
  • Must have a valid driver's license, 3 years driving experience, good driving record, use of vehicle and willingness to transport participants in personal vehicle.
  • Must be able to travel within the region to access residential settings, employers, offices and community organizations.
