  • Performs technical planning, system integration, verification and validation, cost and risk, and supportability and effectiveness analyses for total systems.
  • Analyses are performed at all levels of total system product to include concept, design, fabrication, test, installation, operation, maintenance and disposal.
  • Ensures the logical and systematic conversion of customer or product requirements into total systems solutions that acknowledge technical, schedule, and cost constraints.
  • Performs functional analysis, timeline analysis, detail trade studies, requirements allocation and interface definition studies to translate customer requirements into hardware and software specifications.
  • Provides technical expertise for the installation, operation, troubleshooting, and maintenance of installed systems.
  • Performs duties as Power Control Station / Power Safety Officer (PCO / PSO) oversees the conduct of routine and preventative maintenance.
  • Informs the chain of command of any substantive changes to routine system configuration or capability.
  • Drafts daily / monthly / weekly watch bills in support of operational requirements.

What We Are Looking For

Minimum Qualifications 2 years relevant experience with Bachelors in related field; 0 years of experience with Masters in related field;

or High School Diploma or equivalent and 6 years relevant experience.

  • Must have a background in Electronic Maintenance, Information Systems or Telecommunication disciplines.
  • Must have experience with the management of electronic equipment for preventive and corrective maintenance, configuration, and calibration.
  • Must have experience in Safety Procedures when working with electronic equipment.
  • Must have the ability to identify and correct emergent problems involving technical and / or facility-related equipment, systems, and components.
  • Must have experience following quality assurance steps / checks.
  • Must have a current or active DoD TS / SCI.
  • Must be able to obtain / maintain base access credentials.
  • Must be a U.S. citizen.

Preferred : Bonus Points For...

  • Strong background in communications; fiber optics; electrical / electronic components; generators; AC / DC and high / low voltage theory and application.
  • Thorough knowledge of the installation and maintenance of electrical / electronic components; working knowledge of Key Management Infrastructure.
  • Experience and operational knowledge of various Test Equipment.
  • Develop, review, and implementation of Policies and Standard Operating Procedures (SOP).
  • Experience with Lifecycle Management of programs and various equipment.
  • Experience with Information Systems, Network Infrastructure, Troubleshooting, and Program Analysis.

Office, industrial, or shipboard environment. Capable of climbing ladders and tolerating confined spaces and extreme temperature variances.

Lifting and moving materials may be required.
