The ability to administer purchasing contracts and to coordinate the installation of various Furniture Fixtures & Equipment selections.
The candidate needs to have a strong, hands-on work ethic.
ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES :
- Coordinate with Development team members to establish department and brand-wide design standards (program for development) and specifications for our hospitality and apartment projects.
- Coordinate with various vendors during the project lifecycle to establish and maintain strong working relationships.
- Provide procurement support services for Pizzuti apartment and hospitality projects, including furnishing and accessorizing all amenity spaces.
- Coordinate the delivery and direct the installation of FF&E items for select projects
- Interface with various external consultants, internal business development staff, and construction professionals.
- Coordinate with project architect and interior design consultants to ensure design consistency across all project documents.
- Assist with coordinating project information including budgets, schedules, and other reports
- Assist in the review of bid documents to evaluate inclusion of all necessary visual design elements, compliance with specifications, and evaluation of proposed alternates.
- Lead the design and development of smaller projects, such as a refresh of hotel, office and multi-family common spaces.
- For select projects :
oResearch and decide on materials and products sourcing
oProduce sample and mood products
oSupervise work progress
oWork closely with designers, decorators, architects and constructors
REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES :
Minimum of 5 years job experience in multi-family apartment development and / or hotel development including design and project management.
Examples of specific leadership or team membership on prior successful projects required.
- Proven working experience in designing and decorating interior spaces.
- Expertise in layout, color, lighting, materials selection, custom furniture and all installations.
- Strong Microsoft Office skills and excellent knowledge of project cost tracking and reporting.
- Proficient in Revit, AutoCAD, SketchUp, 3D Max, Illustrator or other design programs.
- Excellent portfolio of previous works.
- Creative talent, imagination and eye for design.
- Excellent verbal, written communication and presentation skills
- Ability to maintain strong working relations with internal and external clients.
- Highly organized, results oriented and ability to work in a fast paced, creative, multi- functional team environment.
- BS degree in Interior Design, Interior Architecture or similar.
