Job Summary

The Scheller College of Business https : / / www.scheller.gatech.edu / at the Georgia Institute of Technology in Atlanta, Georgia invites applications for an Assistant / Associate Professor faculty position in Real Estate Finance starting in fall 2025.

Beyond teaching and research responsibilities as well as service to the Institute, the faculty is expected to lead and grow the real estate program in Scheller College.

Responsibilities

Job responsibilities include demonstrated ability to teach at the undergraduate and / or graduate level. Seasoned scholars should exhibit a track record of publications in the top journals in finance, economics, and real estate.

Candidates for Assistant or Associate Professor should possess outstanding potential for excellent scholarly research. A competitive salary will be offered, with an expected teaching load of three courses per year are competitive with leading research universities.

Responsibilities for this position entails :

  • Excellence in classroom instruction in subjects related to real estate finance at the undergraduate and graduate levels.
  • Dedication to participation and leadership in professional activities, such as presenting work-in-progress at important professional conferences, peer-review, and editorial positions in relevant journals.
  • Commitment to service and student-engagement at the Institute level and beyond.

Required Qualifications

The minimum requirements are a Ph.D. in Finance or an associated area (candidates must have their Ph.D. completed no later than July 1, 2025 ).

  • The ability to engage students in experiential learning activities and pedagogy that support student success.
