Job Summary :
The Technical Support Engineer will be working with Altair's global user base, with the goal of effectively supporting in using the best-in-class Altair solutions.
This will sometimes include traveling to customer locations, communicating best practices with customers and exchanging ideas with the software development teams.
What You Will Do :
- Provide technical support to Altair's HyperWorks customers
- Conduct trainings and webinars on HyperWorks products and solutions
- Create digital content on HyperWorks products and solutions
- Work closely with product managers as well as users to be the conduit for a constant feedback loop to make our products better.
- Conduct POC's (proof of concept) Benchmarks as required.
What You Will Need : Basics :
Basics :
- Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field
- Experience with Finite Element Analysis tools
- Exposure to simulation areas like structural analysis, fluid dynamics, multi-body analysis
- Exposure to operating Systems like Linux and Windows
- Proficiency in collaboration tools like PowerPoint, Excel, Word, Outlook
- Aptitude for solving engineering problems
Preferred :
- 1-2 years experience using commercial finite element analysis pre-processors like HyperMesh
- Experience in Technical Support, Application Support, Technical Pre-Sales and Consulting
- Experience with simulation solutions from ANSYS / Dassault / Siemens
- Experience with Multiphysics simulation
