They are looking for a flexible, self-starter that enjoys working solo and as part of a team environment! The ideal candidate will be a quality driven, multi-task oriented individual with excellent organizational, communication and problem solving skills.
AutoCAD Exhibit Drafter Responsibilities :
- Work independently and prepare highly detailed construction drawings based on limited information and provide workable solutions to highly imaginative design challenges, with minimum supervision
- Knowledgeable in various construction methods and materials used to fabricate trade show exhibits
- Communicate effectively with team members and outside professionals to obtain needed information to keep projects on track
- Work in a fast paced, ever changing team oriented environment
- Detail all plans per project specifications following established company standards
- Create Floor Plans and Layouts
- Create Fabrication Drawings from 3D Designs
- Create Set up and electrical drawings
- Create Branding, Signage and Graphic Drawings
- Recommend and specify materials to be used
- Do CNC files for production
AutoCAD Exhibit Drafter Requirements :
- 2+ years AutoCAD 3D modeling experience
- Construction background
- 1+ years Exhibit Detail experience preferred
- Thorough knowledge of Autodesk AutoCAD is required
- Able to pull parts from drawings and create cut sheets for CNC production
- Previous experience with CNC programming and / or machining a plus
- Hands-on experience with shop fabrication techniques and processes a plus
