Description
The Glickman Lauder Center of Excellence in Autism and Developmental Disorders is searching for a Director to lead the growth, coordination, and success of the outpatient behavioral services .
The Center serves individuals and their families through a continuum of care-from inpatient to outpatient settings. Our specially trained providers have expertise in the emotional and behavioral needs of people with autism and other developmental disorders, and evidence-based practices are designed to meet each patient's unique needs.
The new 28,000 square foot Center offers coordinated services under one roof, and has attracted expert clinicians from across the country to join the care team since opening in 2021.
- The Director develops and supervises programs of clinical care, and provides direct service, in the outpatient clinic for adults and children, and seeks to expand over time the range of services offered in the center and in the community.
- The Director supports and supervises staff, oversees quality of positive behavior support plans and other interventions, and is a key knowledge resource for other providers.
- This position reports to the Medical Director of the Center.
Desired Qualifications & Experience :
- Education : Doctoral degree in psychology, Ph.D. or Psy.D. required.
- License / Certifications : Licensure as a Psychologist in the State of Maine. Certification from the Behavior Analysis Certification Board or extensive experience in providing ABA.
- Experience : 5+ years' experience working with adults or children with developmental disorders.
