Job Description
- Work with the Director Logistics to manager carrier contract negotiations
- Serve as the lead for any shipping related special requirements
- Monitor all inbound and outbound freight activity
- Manager the Shipping and Receiving team members
- Work with IS & T and Procurement on Tariff tracking and reporting
- Serve as the lead for any shipping defect related claims. Work with carriers, quality and sales to resolve
- Establish and maintain a shipment routing guide to ensure that Vicor is using the most cost effective shipping methods
- Analyze logistics expenses and recommend cost saving solutions
- Work with the Director of Logistics to manage the SAP install for all back end related business processes
- Work with the Director of Logistics to manage the Ship Exec Install. A UPS product Vicor has selected as an add on to SAP.
- Manager the intelligent logistics go live (after the SAP install).
Education / Qualifications
- 5+ years managing : Warehouse operations including all inventory management locations, traffic management, contract negotiations, etc.
- BS Degree in Business, Management, Operations, Logistics, etc.
- Work with internal organizations such as Planning, Manufacturing, Customer Service, Finance, IT, etc.
- Working with the compliance team manage compliance related responsibilities
- Serve as a key member of ISO compliance and auditing process
- Experience in managing process controls and associated metrics
- Experience in SAP or comparable ERP system implementation a plus

Salary Range : $97,180.00 - $121,475.00 - $157,918.00
Salary is determined based upon work experience and education
