Job Summary :
Join a great team of Interventional Radiology providers who collaborate to provide clinical care to patients both non-procedurally and procedurally.
This position is weekdays with no current requirement for weekend or call. The individual will be required to maintain Basic Life Support (BLS), Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) and Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS).
Must be licensed to treat patients of all ages (adult and children).
Job Duties :
This provider will perform some minor procedures independently following training and privileging to include but not limited to gastrostomy change, mediport removal, paracentesis, thoracentesis, tunneled catheter removal, thyroid biopsy and lymph node biopsy.
The position will also be responsible for non-procedural activities to include but limited to rounding on inpatients post procedure, triaging orders, clinic visits, communicating with referring services, H&Ps, discharge instructions.

The hospital has been part of the Lewistown community for more than 100 years since first opening in 1908. GLH provides inpatient, outpatient, wellness and community services while employing over 1,000 full-time and part-time employees and providing a medical staff consisting of more than 150 physicians and allied health practitioners representing specialties ranging from family medicine, internal medicine, and cardiology to infectious disease and general / cardiovascular surgery.
Education :
Bachelor's Degree-Physician Assistant (Required), Master's Degree-Nurse Practitioner (Preferred)

Basic Life Support Certification - Default Issuing Body, Certified Physician Assistant - National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants (NCCPA)
