The Medical Assistant communicates with patients every day. You are energized by people interaction while you collect detailed information during a fast-paced, friendly, and positive patient encounter.
Successful Medical Assistants are optimistic and methodical with follow-up on multiple tasks.
Every day your high energy keeps you motivated to tackle a variety of tasks while interacting socially in a warm friendly environment for the patient and your team.
Your tasks will include the following :
- collecting patient information including vital signs, height, weight, medical history and prescriptions
- administering medical tests, collecting specimens, giving injections
- charting in the electronic medical records system
- processing paper documents such as sports physicals and DOT physicals
- communicating medical results back to patients
- assisting patients with registration
Over the past 12 years, Mercy Urgent Care patients have returned to our clinics to seek fast, friendly, quality care. We take pride in our amazing customer love shown to our patients.

Position Overview
- Competitive Pay
- Work hours : 7 a.m to 7 p.m. Full Time 36 hours each week
- Work rotation : work 6 days in a 14-day period with 7 days off in a row; no holidays or Sundays worked
