NATIONAL ACCOUNT SALES MANAGER (CRANE EXPERIENCE REQUIRED)

Summary
The National Account Sales Manager Cranes will be charged with growing sales of boom truck cranes in a specific territory (Western Region) across all industries.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Targeted annual sales of $10m
- Awareness and credibility with all major crane owners is paramount
- Prepare and execute marketing plans within the territory
- Competitor and pricing intelligence and analysis
- Manage the sales process from prospect to delivery
- Attend relevant shows / expositions
- Subject matter expert for boom trucks and cranes
- Other duties as requested
Required Skills and Qualifications
- The ideal candidate will possess 5 or more years of direct crane sales experience.
- The candidate will understand the North American crane markets.
- The sales approach should be collaborative.
- He / she will have a strategic sales process mindset and be oriented towards sales enablement and efficiency.
- He / she will have excellent analytical skills, be able to gather and digest applicable data, and develop deep understandings of both the financial and operational levers.
- He / she will have communication and presentation skills that can be adapted to fit the needs from the c-suite to the shop floor.
Qualifications include :
- Bachelor's degree (B. S.) in Accounting, Engineering or Business from an accredited four-year College or university or 10 years of relevant leadership experience.
- Working knowledge of truck specifications suitable for cranes
- Knowledge of competitive crane companies and their products
- Able to leverage CRM to improve efficiency
- An ability to converse / relate with owners, operators, and technicians
Preferred Skills and Qualifications
- Crane operator’s certification is a plus
- CDL is a plus
Working Conditions
- This position is high travel and requires the candidate to be effective while on the road.
- Remote work
- Western region
Physical Requirements
- The candidate must be comfortable climbing in and out of truck and crane cabs, using ladders to access decks, light lifting may be required.
