Position Overview : We are seeking an experienced and results-driven Automotive National Sales Manager to spearhead our national sales initiatives.
The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in automotive sales, particularly in wholesale parts distribution, and a deep understanding of the automotive industry.
This role is pivotal in expanding our market presence and requires extensive travel (up to 50%), with the potential for significant earnings through uncapped commissions.
Key Responsibilities :
Strategic Sales Development : Formulate and implement comprehensive sales strategies to drive revenue growth across multiple regions.
Identify and capitalize on emerging market trends to position as a leader in the automotive sector.
Customer Relationship Management : Develop and maintain robust relationships with a diverse client base, including MSOs, small body shops, and car dealerships.
Ensure client needs are met through personalized service and by delivering tailored solutions.
Wholesale Automotive Sales Expertise : Utilize in-depth knowledge of automotive parts and services to expand the company’s footprint in the industry.
Drive new business development while retaining and growing existing accounts.
- Market Expansion : Identify and penetrate new markets, with a focus on underrepresented areas. Analyze market data to prioritize opportunities and devise strategies to maximize market share.
- Sales Process Management : Oversee the entire sales process from lead generation to closing deals. Ensure alignment with company goals and adherence to industry best practices.
- Performance Monitoring : Regularly assess and report on sales performance, providing actionable insights to senior management.
Adjust strategies as needed to meet or exceed sales targets.
Industry Networking : Attend automotive industry events, trade shows, and conferences to stay informed about the latest trends and to network with potential clients and partners.
Qualifications :
- Extensive experience in automotive sales, with a strong emphasis on wholesale parts distribution, MSOs, small body shops, and car dealerships.
- Deep knowledge of the automotive industry, including current trends, market dynamics, and competitive landscape.
- Demonstrated success in a national or regional sales role, with a consistent track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets.
- Exceptional communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.
- Ability to travel up to 50% of the time, with a focus on client meetings and market expansion efforts.
