Position Overview
We are seeking an enthusiastic and motivated individual to join our team as an Insurance Agent - New Business Representative.
In this role, you will be responsible for building and maintaining relationships with customers, providing insurance solutions, and meeting sales targets.
Responsibilities
- Develop new business opportunities through prospecting and networking
- Assess customer needs and recommend suitable insurance coverage
- Present insurance proposals to clients and address any questions or concerns
- Maintain accurate customer records and follow-up on policy renewals
- Collaborate with team members to achieve sales goals
- Stay updated on industry trends and product knowledge
- Obtain necessary insurance licenses to comply with state regulations

Requirements
- Sales experience (outside sales or inside sales representative, retail sales associate, or telemarketing) preferred
- Successful track record of meeting sales goals / quotas preferred
- Excellent interpersonal skills
- Excellent communication skills - written, verbal and listening
- Organizational skills
- Self-motivated
- Detail oriented
- Proactive in problem solving
- Ability to work in a team environment
- Ability to multi-task
- Ability to make presentations to potential customers
- Property and Casualty license (must be able to obtain)
- Life and Health license (must be able to obtain)
