Responsibilities :
- Overall maintenance and administration of GIS Systems.
- Publish, tune, and administer published services for GIS Systems.
- Administer security of published services for GIS Systems.
- Technical support and troubleshooting of published services and GIS Systems.
- Assist with implementing and troubleshooting equipment.
- Monitor GIS systems performance and logs.
- Create and administer Enterprise Geodatabases, including schema updates, versioning, and maintenance.
- Assist with implementing solutions for various GIS applications and clients.
- Provide suggestions on GIS architecture improvements.
- Perform GIS activities to include creating spatial features, data management, data conversions, and performing spatial analyses.
The ideal candidate will have the following experience :
- Providing tech support to problem solve and trouble shoot any helpdesk tickets while working one-on-one with end users regularly.
- User / license management including renewals.
- Data collection hardware and software including post processing data, drones, and coordinate systems.
- CADD integration and basic CADD knowledge (AutoDesk).
- A / E / C industry with knowledge of engineering, surveying, etc.
- GIS software and applications including Survey123, AGOL, ArcMap, ArcReader, ArcGIS Pro, and data collectors.
- Database management including creating fields, domains, tables, SQL, Access, etc.
- GIS administration including user analysis, logins, account management, license management, maintenance of standards, group sharing, etc.
- GIS implementation including understanding the needs of internal and external clients and implementation of software updates and upgrades.
- ArcGIS online administration including user management, user roles, credits, permissions, etc.
- Application development and scripting including Python, Arcade, and creating apps in AGOL.
- GIS experience including mapping, data collection, and analysis.
This opportunity requires :
Education
Bachelor’s Degree in GIS or related field
Experience
At least 5 years of experience as a GIS Administrator or similar role preferred
Licensing
- GISP preferred
