Accounting Manager
Position Overview
We are looking for an experienced Accounting Manager to oversee the financial operations of our company. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining financial records, performing audits, and ensuring compliance with tax laws and regulations.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage and oversee the daily operations of the accounting department
- Prepare and analyze financial reports, including balance sheets and income statements
- Perform audits to ensure compliance with accounting and tax regulations
- Develop and implement accounting policies and procedures to ensure accurate and timely financial reporting
- Manage month-end close process
- Oversee accounts payable and accounts receivable functions
- Maintain accurate and complete financial records
- Assist in the preparation of tax returns and other compliance filings
- Maintain internal controls to ensure the integrity of financial information
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in accounting
- Strong knowledge of GAAP, accounting principles, and audit procedures
- Experience with multi-level marketing (MLM) and subsidiaries
- Experience with month-end close, 1099, establishing policies and procedures, AP, tax, legal, and financial reporting
- Experience with sales tax and internal controls
- Ability to analyze financial data and prepare financial reports
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to manage and motivate a team
