Emergency Department Metro Float Pool RN- Part Time Nights

Job Description

We are looking for an experience RN to join our Emergency Department Metro Float Pool. In this position you will float between out 4 metro entities :

• Saint Luke's Hospital (Plaza)
• Saint Luke's East (Lee's Summit)
• Saint Luke's South (Overland Park)
• Saint Luke's North (Barry Rd)

This position will provide you variety in your work, new challenges, and allow you to build professional relationships with diverse teams.

We are looking for a solution focused self-starter who is passionate about their work as an ED Nurse and excited to make an impact at multiple locations and various patient communities through continuous improvement and a natural desire to go above and beyond for patients, patients’ loved ones, and their peers.

You will need to be adaptable and flexible in an unpredictable environment.

Shift : Part Time Nights (6 : 45p-7 : 15a)

Responsibilities :

Utilize the nursing process.

Perform patient care delegating patient care tasks and for supervision of other patient care staff.

Coordinate the plan of care for a group of assigned patients and consulting with other members of the health care team when indicated to ensure optimal patient outcomes.

Demonstrate proficiency and abides by policies rules guidelines and procedures.

Advanced Cardiac Life Support - American Heart Association or Red Cross, Basic Life Support - American Heart Association or Red Cross, Pediatric Advanced Life Support - American Heart Association or Red Cross, Registered Nurse (KS) - National Council of State Boards of Nursing (NURSYS), Registered Nurse (MO) - National Council of State Boards of Nursing (NURSYS), Trauma Nurse Core Course - Emergency Nurse Association
