We are seeking an experienced Software Engineer, to support the Geospatial Community in the integration and enhancement of software mission systems.
This is an exciting new initiative where the Intelligence Community is utilizing modernized techniques and technologies to produce cutting edge products for members of our government defense.
Candidates must be passionate, energized, and excited to work on modern architectures and solve challenging problems for our clients.
Position Description (what you will do)
- Develop and implement software enhancements in languages like Java, Python, Ruby, Clojure, JavaScript, etc.
- Integrate multiple modernized applications within secure government systems.
- Build and develop scalable solutions to fit customer requirements.
- Provide expertise in documenting, testing, and debugging software critical to mission success.
- Mentor and guide junior team members toward project and career success.
- Stay updated on industry trends and advancements in analytics to continually improve insights methodologies.
Requirements :
- 8+ years of experience in Software Development, preferably with Java, Python, and other modern languages
- Active Top Secret with SCI eligibility.
- Experience in Java-based enterprise system development.
- Research and development experience.
- Background in rapid prototyping.
- Effective communication skills to convey complex insights to non-technical stakeholders.
- Detail-oriented and capable of managing multiple projects simultaneously.
- Experience with documentation, planning, and team development.
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in a relevant field such as Computer Science, Software Engineering, etc.
Nice to Have :
- Grasp of AI / ML concepts and practices
- Experience with containerization and migration tools like Docker and Kubernetes, etc.
- Experience with CI process tools like Jira or Confluence
- AWS API experience
- AWS certification (Developer, DevOps, Architect)
- Security + or other DoD IAT II Baseline Certification

Proposed Pay Scale : $162,200-$194,800
