POSITION SUMMARY
This position is responsible for the development, management, and execution of various operations driven project plans across the U.
S. AutoForce network in collaboration with cross-functional leaders and subject matter experts. This position will be responsible for the overall direction, coordination, implementation, execution, control and completion of specific projects ensuring consistency with division strategy, commitments and goals.
This includes both new construction and existing operations with a strong focus on continuous improvement, optimization and reporting.
This role is located on-site in Appleton, WI.
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
- Effectively develop project scope and objectives.
- Lead discussions and manage operations projects with cross departmental collaboration / input (Product Management, IT, Operations, Sales, Finance), to ensure project / output is successful for all departments.
- Lead resource for execution of operations tasks for new and existing operations.
- Develop and quickly adjust timelines & priority to adapt to rapidly evolving business needs.
- Schedule and facilitate reoccurring project meetings ensuring proper attendance.
- Establish and maintain warehouse layout and capacity models.
- Key resource for warehouse capacity management working closely with operations and product management team to meet changes in demand that impact warehouse layout
- Develop and maintain warehouse WMS location configurations
- Execution of operations design, capacity strategy, process design, and other analytical initiatives.
- Follow best practices and drive standardization / uniformity amongst organization.
- Maintain, develop, and improve standard project documentation and templates to drive consistency in project plans.
- Submit and manage project CapEx and budget.

QUALIFICATIONS
- Bachelor's degree in industrial engineering, operations management, a related field, or the equivalent experience
- 5 years' experience in operations management, industrial engineering, or project management in a related industry
- Knowledge of both theoretical and practical aspects of project management and warehouse operations design
- Direct work experience in project management capacity
- Proven experience in change management
- Proficient in project management software
- Excellent analytical, problem solving, process improvement, communication, and organizational abilities.
- Demonstrated ability to deal with a variety of people and situations in a positive, open-minded, and results oriented manner.
- Strong communication skills in a cross-departmental group setting to effectively drive projects to completion.
- Detail, results, and team oriented as well as professional under stress.
- Strong analytical skills including a good understanding of the budgeting process, cost control, price and profit.
- Experience in CAD
- Proficient in the use of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Project, etc.)
- Good problem solving, negation skills
