JobOverview : In this leadership role you will guide ateam of process engineers responsible for advanced manufacturingprocesses.
You will be the key liaison between customers andinternal teams ensuring that product specifications are met withprecision and continuous improvement initiatives are prioritized.
Your role is pivotal in reducing variations improving product yieldand driving costefficiency all while fostering a culture ofcreativity and crossfunctional collaboration.
KeyResponsibilities :
- Actas the main point of contact for technical requirements ensuringcustomer specifications are communicated and understoodinternally.
- Foster a creative environment thatencourages problemsolving and continuousimprovement.
- Lead initiatives aimed at productyield improvements cost reductions and processvariations.
- Manage the design and standards oftooling and product parts ensuring seamless New ProductIntroduction (NPI).
- Oversee the plantsproductivity plan scrap reduction efforts and initiatives to meetperformance targets.
- Collaborate across variousdepartments and locations to promote communication streamlineprocesses and eliminate silos.
- Mentor and coachboth junior and senior engineering associates preparing them forfuture success.
- Optimize core design inpartnership with both internal and external engineeringteams.
- Lead and participate in meetings focusedon product improvement and crossteamalignment.
RecommendedQualifications :
- Bachelors degree in Engineering from anaccredited institution.
- Minimum of 5 years in aleadership role within engineering.
- At least 3years of experience in product engineering and / or 5 years ortooling.
- Expertise in strategicplanning.
- Strong adaptability and the abilityto pivot swiftly to handle change and unexpectedchallenges.
PreferredQualifications :
- Experience in highprecisionmanufacturing.
- Proven track record of leadingcrossfunctional teams to meet engineering and businessobjectives.
- Demonstrated ability to managelargescale initiatives such as New Product Introduction (NPI) andscrap reduction plans.
