As the Source to Pay (S2P) Communications & Workforce Development Lead, you will drive key global L&D initiatives and communication efforts to accelerate the pace and outcomes of our S2P Strategy in line with S2P goals.
Key to the success of this role will be the implementation of colleague engagement and workforce development solutions that further our efforts to achieve Best in Class for Innovation, Supplier Engagement and Service Delivery Excellence as well as a Great Place to Work for all colleagues.
How you will achieve this :
Leadership Engagement : Elevate leadership engagement and commitment at the global, tower and BU level.
- Execution of monthly one-page global S2P report by tower for S2P leaders
- Development of engaging and inspiring Leader Forums agenda including end-to-end supplier execution and socialization of follow-up key messages
- Ownership of Leading in S2P Teams / other Communication Medium including maintenance of extended leaders distribution list and updates for S2P Leaders
- Drive the connection & adaption of S2P initiatives alongside supplier lifecycle management strategies via extended and Level Leaders network as measured via participation and activation rates
S2P Operational Planning & Communications : Supporting the execution of our S2P Governance and Operational Plan Commitments including :
- Evolving the S2P Story and Changing Lives, Together strategic intent with associated KPIs to demonstrate tangible S2P value creation across each tower for ELT Business Partners
- Chair Communications Council, made up with a mix of S2P colleagues from various teams, by providing appropriate management of the Council’s roster, direction, and initiatives
- Develop communications tailored for the S2P team and external colleagues, including announcements, project updates, and organizational changes, to maintain transparency and engagement
- Support planning for annual S2P wide budget needs (Global Surveys, forums, initiatives etc.)
- Ensure all communications are consistent with the organization’s brand voice and tone, maintaining a professional and engaging style that aligns with S2P’s values and objectives
- Adept at creating engaging content, coordinating cross-functional teams, and driving organizational alignment through effective communication
- Act as the primary liaison between S2P and other teams, including Fuse (Technical Team, Knowledge Management Team), Digital CoE, and others, facilitating collaboration and ensuring cohesive communication strategies
- Partner with S2P Leadership and the PPAI team to develop and deliver quarterly communications on business achievements to senior management stakeholders, including VP-level and executive leadership team (ELT) members
- Stay updated on industry best practices in communications and bring innovative ideas to enhance S2P’s communication efforts
- Monitor and update S2P content on Fuse, ensuring all information is current, relevant, and easily accessible
- Prepare talking points and consistent messaging for S2P leadership for external speaking engagements and conferences
- Organize and run S2P Town Halls, facilitating effective communication and engagement across the organization
- Establish and monitor Regional S2P Colleague forums to improve business acumen and knowledge sharing across towers
Trusted Business Partner Strategy : Supporting the elevation the S2P Partnership Approach to demonstrate value, commitment, and impact.
- Planning of strategic S2P Partnership across Pfizer including ownership of joint goals and progression of new partnership goals for S2P
- Chair Professional Development Council, made up with a mix of S2P colleagues from various teams, by providing appropriate management of the Council’s roster, direction, and initiatives
- Maintenance of our the S2P Customer Community Page and Externally Facing apps
- Publication of the S2P the Source Success Stories each month and management of socialization with GBS LT functions
- Developing customized partnership support models and partnership scorecards to demonstrate S2P Value and Improvements in partnership areas
- Provide content support to S2PLT for external speaking assignments
S2P Training & Onboarding : Implementing S2P Global Training Curriculum including :
- Develop S2P Workforce Development roadmap, in partnership with S2PLT and PX teams.
- Dotted Line management of 5 colleagues that participate in a 2 year U.S. Associate level leadership development program
- Management, planning and execution of all new colleague hire welcome sessions and global training sessions
- Migration of the Strategic Sourcing / P2P training curriculum into three modules on Pfizer Learning Academy (PLA)
- Create mechanisms for gathering feedback from S2P team members and other stakeholders on communication effectiveness and areas for improvement, and incorporate this feedback into future communication strategies
- Thoroughly understands all Learning & Development resources made available to colleagues by Pfizer, including Pfizer’s Core Competency model, organizes those resources, and delivers, via the online portal, to all S2P colleagues
- Serves as a coach and mentor for IDP planning and discussions, and provides consultative services, available to all S2P people managers globally, to deliver a higher level of S2P colleague job performance through application of all available L&D programs and tools

Required Basic Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree
- 8-10 years of relevant experience
- Excellent written and oral communications skills with the ability to influence all levels of the organization
- Ability to work across different cultures and with a variety of leaders from different backgrounds and experiences
- English language fluency
Preferred Qualifications
- MBA or master’s degree
- 10+ years of relevant work experience leading communications strategy in similarly sized organizations
