Web Applications Developer

Our client is lookingfor a Web Applications Developer for a contract role inLawrenceville GA. As a Web Applications Developer youwill take on the responsibility of contributing to the designimplementation and support of applications used by the PublicSafety community.

You will work on complex projects and begin totake ownership of specific features or modules collaborating withcrossfunctional teams to deliver impactfulsolutions.

Skills :

Bachelor sDegree in Computer Science Information Systems Analytics or arelated technical field AND 5 years of handson experience insoftware development particularly in full stack development OR anequivalent combination of education and experience sufficient tosuccessfully perform the essential duties of the job aslisted.

Valid driver slicense.

PreferredExperience :

Proficiencywith Python React and other modern programming languages andframeworks.

Experience withSQL Server or other relational databases including schema designand queryoptimization.

Familiaritywith development tools and practices including CI / CD and automatedtesting.

Understandingof RESTful APIs web services and modern networkcommunication.

Experience withAgile developmentmethodologies.

Proven abilityto work effectively in a team and contribute to projectsuccess.

Proficient inversion control systems particularly Git and GitHubEnterprise.

Strongcommunication skills and the ability to adapt to evolving userrequirements.

AdvancedJavaScript Frameworks : Experience with frameworks like Angular orVue.js.

Cloud PlatformExperience : Experience deploying applications on cloud platformslike AWS Azure or GoogleCloud.

DevOpsPractices : Familiarity with tools like Docker Kubernetes or Jenkinsfor automating deployment and optimizing the developmentprocess.

Testing andMonitoring : Experience with testing methodologies and monitoringtools to ensure softwarereliability.

Soft Skills : Strong problemsolving abilities and the ability to communicatetechnical concepts clearly.

Responsibilities :

Develop andenhance features and functionality within ongoing and newdevelopment projects using Python Flask JavaScript and other moderntechnologies.

Activelyparticipate in all stages of the software development life cycleincluding planning design implementation testing andmaintenance.

Work closelywith project managers developers and stakeholders to ensure projectsuccess.

Conduct codereviews and provide feedback to junior developers helping maintainhigh codingstandards.

Engage ingathering and analyzing user feedback to improve applicationscontinuously.

Contribute tothe of test plans debugging and issue resolution to maintainsoftware quality. Document developmentprocesses and adhere to team coding standards and bestpractices.

Assist in thepreparation and updating of technical and userdocumentation.

Work withstakeholders to gather requirements and deliver software solutionstailored to theirneeds.

Ensure that alldevelopment work aligns with security and compliance standardsrelevant to PublicSafety.

Assist indeploying web applications to Windows servers including configuringIIS and setting upservices
