Responsibilities
May Include :
- Responsible for procuring goods and services, negotiating complex agreements, and coordination of all business related activities with the suppliers assigned to the Buyer
- Individual needs to possess a high level of understanding of legal requirements involved in the procurement function
- Analyzes purchases to develop strategic and long-term procurement strategies
- Monitors and manages supplier performance through metrics and business reviews
- Initiates continuous improvement projects for savings, productivity, and / or systems capability enhancements
- Demonstrates a high level of judgement and business experience
Qualifications :
- Pusuing a BS in Purchasing or Business, or a related degree with equivalent work experience
- Pursuing a Master's degree is a plus
- Adept at MS Office products and an Enterprice Resource System (SAP preferred)
- Must have good written and oral communication skills
