What to Expect : Hands-On Experience : Work and earn for 30 to 40 hours per week in our state-of-the-art hospitals. Blended Curriculum : Engage in a dynamic curriculum that combines online learning with hands-on training.
Paid Learning Time : Receive dedicated time to complete the online portion of your training. Guidance from Experts : Partner with a veterinary training expert who will ensure you have all the information and resources needed for success.
Upon Completion of the Program, You Will Be : Skilled and Knowledgeable : Proficient in animal hygiene and husbandry, patient handling, medical terminology, sanitation, laboratory testing, and record-keeping.
Eligible to take a nationally approved exam and receive corresponding credentials. Ready for Advancement : Encouraged to consider a full-time position within one of our specialty departments nationwide! Compensation : $15.
75 - $21 pending skill leveling assessment Anticipated Schedule : Three- 12-hour shifts Days and / or overnights 7a 7p; 7p 7a One weekend day per week Requirements of our Approved Veterinary Assistant Program : High school diploma or equivalent required Ability to read, write, and speak English is required Knowledge and practical application of basic math (including addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division) is required.
