The Swift Group is seeking a Software Application Tester. This person will conduct testing of systems development and deployment, targeting and intelligence analysis, systems engineering and integration, and training capabilities and solutions.
This position will be located onsite in McLean, VA.
Key Responsibilities :
- Design, implement, and maintain an automated test environment in AWS using Selenium.
- Test newly developed features and enhancements for web applications, APIs, and web services.
- Track and manage tasks and user stories utilizing a tracking system.
- Collaborate with team members within an Agile Scrum environment to deliver high-quality software.
- Perform requirements analysis to ensure that software meets user needs and expectations.
- Create and maintain automated test scripts using technologies such as Selenium, JUnit, and Mockito.
- Conduct API testing and application testing using automated tools and frameworks.
- Utilize scripting languages such as Java and JavaScript for test automation.
- Employ team collaboration tools like Confluence and issue tracking applications like Jira to manage workflows and documentation.
Required Skills and Experience :
- Five (5) or more years of demonstrated experience in :
- Automated testing processes and API testing using tools such as Selenium and SoapUI.
- Working within an Agile Scrum team environment.
- Operating in cloud environments, specifically AWS.
- Utilizing the Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC).
- Performing requirements analysis.
- Creating and maintaining automated test environments using technologies such as Selenium, JUnit, and Mockito.
- Testing APIs and applications.
- Using scripting languages such as Java and JavaScript.
- Utilizing team collaboration tools such as Confluence or similar.
- Employing issue tracking applications like Jira (preferred) or similar.
- Bachelor's Degree (B.S.) in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Business, Information Management Systems, or a related discipline.
5+ years of additional relevant experience can be substituted for a degree.
US Citizenship and an active TS / SCI with Polygraph security clearance required
