The Software Business Analyst will help to shape the project from its very inception by facilitating communication between the development team and clients.
The Software Business Analyst will help to deliver software on time, within budget, and according to requirements.
Primary Responsibilities
Capture, analyze, and document business requirements and translate into system functionality including designing and configuring workflows
Interact with client and project team members during all phases of system development
Coordinate with the development team and customer to ensure on-time project completion
Identify issues and recommend solutions
Maintain updated applications documentation and training material
Participate, lead, and / or coordinate end-user training
Assist in preparation of the testing strategy and test plans; guide user acceptance testing
Assists in testing efforts to ensure issues are identified and solution matches requirements
Required Qualifications
Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to collaborate well with others
Excellent written / verbal skills with demonstrated ability to present articulate and compelling proposals to a non-technical audience
Familiarity with state machine workflow diagrams
Focus on problem solving / solution development
Self-motivated and resourceful
Active listener
Experience with testing tools and end-user training
SQL, Python, Drupal and Sales Force skills a plus
