Job Title : Machine Assembler

Job Description

Looking to hire an assembler for our South Bend, IN location. You will be on ladders and exposed to heights for this position.

You will be fastening joints and seams in sheet metal, using fasteners and drivers, ensuring work meets quality specifications and safety guidelines.

You will work in a team environment, so experience in teamwork is a plus. Construction experience translates well.

Job Duties :

• Screwing sheet metal panels together
• Installing insulation
• Using power tools (drills, grinders, plasma cutting equipment, etc.)
• Laying out, measuring, and marking dimensions and reference lines on material
• Utilizing calculators and tape measures
• Fastening seams and joints together with bolts, rivets, caulks, and metal drive clips to assemble components into products
• Drilling holes in metal for screws, bolts, and rivets
• Assembling and fitting pre-fabricated parts to form subassemblies
• Maintaining cleanliness of the work area

Hard Skills

• Assembly
