Position Summary
The Pasta Cook creates fresh batches of pasta daily to be served in the restaurant.
Duties & Responsibilities :
Makes pasta according to recipes and standards.
Proficient in all areas, including proper cooking methods, proper cooking times and temperature.
Ensures all items are rotated according to FIFO standards.
Consistently checks the pasta products and adjusts methods to achieve high quality pasta.
Promotes a safe and respectful work environment.
Complete tasks assigned in a timely efficient manner.
Skills / Experience :
At least two (2) years’ experience as a pastry cook, baker, or similar.
Exceptional communication skills.
Ability to work a flexible schedule including evenings, weekends and holidays when required.
Must have SNHD Food Handler card up to date.
