The Health Relations Specialist II is the front line for interfacing with patients in Terros Health Centers. You will be a great candidate if you have at least one- year relevant front office customer facing and focused service experience in healthcare, hospitality or banking and we will train you!
The position performs a variety of duties which include, but are not limited to, greeting individuals , appointment scheduling, intake interviews, gathering information and paperwork.

Full Time, Employment
Flexibility to work Monday - Thursday 7 : 30 am 8 pm
Friday 7 : 30 am 5 pm
Rotating Saturday's (7 : 30 am - 5 : 00 pm)
Minimum One- Year Relevant Front Office Customer Facing and Focused Service Experience in Healthcare, Hospitality
i.e., meeting or conventions, hotel), or Banking required.
Front Office Experience in Healthcare, Behavioral Health, Dental or a Medical Office is Preferred
Health Center Relations Specialist II Duties Include :
- Greet individuals coming into the clinic in a professional and courteous manner, assist their needs promptly with compassion, in accordance withTerross Health values.
- Promptly answers all incoming calls using theTerross Health standard greeting, directing calls to requested area or individual, correctly and in a timely manner.
- Processes the check in of patients and notify the appropriate staff member of the arrival of patients. Update relevant information during auto-flow by completing four-point check.
- Reviews and updates the daily schedules; ensuring all necessary data is accurately collected.
- Gathers and maintains patient demographics, ensuring accurate and complete information, in compliance withUDSS guidelines.
- Schedules patients according to schedule availability and in accordance with company standards.
- Covering different locations as needed.
- Ensures patients have the appropriate transportation to and from the clinic, as needed, which may include arranging for the transportation with third-parties.
- Provides health screenings and health promotion education when appropriate.
- Serves as team lead when needed.
- Serves as backup for daily practice operations which may include scheduling of appointments and procedures.

Qualifications
High School Diploma, GED within six (6) months of assuming this position Or Associates degree in medical and health (e.
g. healthcare administration, insurance billing and coding, psychology) or care social work, human services, communication preferred.
- Minimum of six months experience at a Terros Health Center front office with excellent performance in all job duties .
- Familiarity with health insurance eligibility and electronic health record management systems. Experience with NextGen preferred.
- Intermediate level of competency in Microsoft Suite and web-based programs.
- Experience in managing a wide range of administrative, support related tasks. Must be well organized, flexible, able to multi-task, possess strong time management skills, attention to detail and enjoy working in a fast-paced, ever changing environment.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Proven track record of delivering a high level of customer service in a healthcare setting.
- Applicant must possess or be able to attain a State of Arizona Level One Fingerprint Clearance Card within (7) days of employment
This role is a non-driving position. This position is performed at one location and does not require travel to various Terros Health centers.
May be 18 years of age and with less than two years’ driving experience or no driving experience.
Must pass a TB Test.
