Qualified Mental Health Professional Supervisor (QMHP)

Job Summary : The QMHP Supervisor is responsible for the oversight and supervision of Qualified Mental Health Professionals (QMHP) within the Expanded Mobile Crisis Outreach Team (EMCOT).

This role involves close collaboration with the management team and other personnel to continuously develop and refine the crisis delivery system.

The QMHP Supervisor works in conjunction with the Practice Manager and other Licensed Professional of the Healing Arts (LPHA) Supervisors to support community partnerships and develop innovative best practice models to serve clients expertly.

The position offers extensive latitude for the exercise of independent judgment and is critical in ensuring the provision of high-quality crisis services.

Key Responsibilities :

• Supervise QMHP clinicians in crisis assessments, interventions, and follow-up services
• Collaborate with Emergency Medical Services, Austin Police Department, Travis County Sheriff's Office, and Central Booking.
• Develop innovative best practice models with the management team and LPHA Supervisors.
• Conduct regular evaluations and provide training for QMHP staff.
• Maintain strong community partnerships and represent the organization in collaborative efforts.

Regular, predictable attendance is considered to be an essential requirement for this position. Other duties may be assigned.

Graduated from an accredited college or university with a Bachelor's degree with a major specialization in Human / Behavioral / Social Services or related field.

Master's degree preferred.

License : Required :

Current and valid driver's license and a clean driving record.

Experience :

Bilingual preferred.

Hours : Full-Time.

Workdays : Monday, Tuesday, Thursday and Friday.

Workhours : 12 : 00PM - 10 : 00PM.

Salary : $59,339 annually, plus an additional 10% crisis stipend.
