Our construction firm is seeking a dedicated and experienced Electrical Project Manager to join our team. This role is pivotal in ensuring the success of our projects by providing accurate cost estimation and managing various electrical projects from conception to completion.

This position will require a deep understanding of electrical systems in the commercial and industrial sectors. The ideal candidate will have a background in electrical estimating and project estimating, and a proven track record of delivering projects on time and within budget.

Responsibilities

1. Oversee and manage all aspects of electrical projects, including design, planning, scheduling, and implementation.

2. Prepare detailed project cost estimates and proposals, utilizing expertise in electrical systems and cost estimating.

3. Collaborate with project stakeholders, such as clients, architects, and engineers to ensure project requirements are met and potential issues are anticipated and addressed.

4. Monitor project progress, ensuring that work is on schedule and within budget, making necessary adjustments as needed.

5. Ensure compliance with all relevant safety and quality standards.

6. Develop and maintain relationships with vendors and subcontractors, negotiating contracts to achieve the best possible terms.

7. Provide regular reports on project status to senior management.

8. Stay updated with the latest trends, technologies, and best practices in electrical systems and construction management.

Qualifications

1. Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field preferred.

2. Minimum of 6+ years of experience in electrical project management and estimating in the commercial or industrial sectors.

3. Proficient in electrical systems, including lighting, and cost estimating.

4. Strong knowledge of electrical codes and safety standards.

5. Excellent communication and leadership skills.

6. Proficient in project management software and tools.

7. Exceptional problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.

8. Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines.

9. Excellent negotiation skills with a track record of securing favorable contract terms.

10. Strong interpersonal skills, with the ability to build and maintain relationships with clients, vendors, and team members.
