Physician-Psychiatry - Child

Denver Springs Hospital, a 92-bed behavioral health facility located in Englewood, Colorado (10 miles south of Denver) is seeking a board-certified Child & Adolescent Psychiatrist to join the Lifepoint Behavioral Health team.

Position Details :

• Performs psychiatric assessments for individuals under his / her care.
• Provides individual therapy, family therapy and / or medication management as needed for patients under his / her care.

Appropriately requests consultation when indicated. Provides psychiatric consultation when requested.

• Leads the multidisciplinary treatment team and participates collaboratively in scheduled staffing regarding the treatment of his / her patients.
• Demonstrates appropriate medication administration and ensures that documentation regarding medications complies with facility and regulatory standards.
• Complies with all Medical Staff Bylaws and Medical Staff Rules and Regulations. Complies with all facility policies and procedures.

Maintains professional behaviors at all times.

• Share on-call schedule providing on-call services for patients and for responding to emergencies, admissions, and evaluations as necessary.
• Independent contractor model preferred.

Qualifications :

Graduate of an accredited MD / DO program and completion of residency in Psychiatry and fellowship in Child & Adolescent Psychiatry required;

board certification preferred.

• Prior inpatient and / or outpatient experience in a behavioral healthcare setting practicing Psychiatry.
• Medical License
• Unrestricted DEA and State Controlled Substances registration
