We are looking for an Escrow Coordinator to provide support to the Escrow department by assisting with customer service and administrative duties related to escrow closings in Lake Mary FL.

Role : Escrow & Title Assistant

Duration : 3 Months contract

Location : Lake Mary FL 32746

The Escrow & Title Assistant supports both the Escrow and Title departments within a branch. Key responsibilities include :

  • Providing customer service to clients and field escrow offices.
  • Assisting in the establishment of new escrow accounts and performing various title functions.
  • Developing escrow documents in line with internal and external policies and regulations.
  • Performing administrative and clerical duties to aid in the escrow process and managing funds for closing.
  • Maintaining online communication tools.
  • Opening escrow and title orders, setting up files, and preparing documents.
  • Regularly communicating with customers and vendors to provide status updates.
  • Handling pre-close maintenance and post-close follow-up on escrow and title issues, including title policy issues.
  • Interfacing with lenders to facilitate document delivery, execution, and loan funding.
  • Processing escrow transactions for the branch.
  • Developing and / or obtaining required escrow documentation in accordance with escrow instructions, policies, procedures, and applicable statutory and federal regulations.
  • Performing various title-related duties, including title report review, procurement of title, document abstracting, and facilitating the recording of legal documents.
  • Using research to create and maintain files, records, and reports.
  • Auditing calculations and legal documents for accuracy.
  • Creating and processing preliminary title reports through the production center.
  • Participating in business development activities to maintain existing clients and acquire new ones.
