In order to participate in Berklee Student Employment, a student must fulfill the following requirements :
- Current student at Berklee College of Music or Boston Conservatory at Berklee.
- Enrolled at least half-time in a degree, diploma, or certificate-seeking undergraduate or graduate program. Summer is the only semester in which a student can maintain employment without being enrolled.
In this case, the student must be pre-registered for the upcoming fall semester. This exception does not apply to fall or spring semesters.
- Have a valid United States Social Security Number (SSN).
- Remain in "valid" Visa status as applicable.
- A minimum 2.0 cumulative GPA. Students in their first semester can work, even though they do not have an official GPA until the completion of their first semester.
- Federal Work Study student may apply.
- In good disciplinary standing.
- Must be located in the U.S.

About BAMS Fest Inc.
Boston Art and Music Soul Festival Inc. is a cultural movement led by Greater Boston Black and Brown artists, culture makers and creative entrepreneurs who are on the front lines of racial equity, spatial justice, and economic empowerment.
We are nonprofit organization that breaks down racial and social barriers to arts, music, and culture across Greater Boston.
Through edutainment (education + entertainment), strategic partnerships and cultural programming, we celebrate and support both artists and audiences, with an emphasis on Black and Brown voices, perspectives, and artistry.
Emerging Leader Cohort Intern supports our Community Partnerships and Programs Manager with the day-to-day management of management of our youth leadership program, partnerships, and programs.
This position has a flexible schedule Monday - Sunday, and the majority of work will take place at our partnered events.

1. Planning youth cohort initiatives
2. Event staffing
3. Strategic planning
4. Marketing and promotions (in person and online)
5. Running errands
6. Attending staff meetings and taking minutes
7. Assisting with employee paperwork
8. Duties as assigned

- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
