First Shift- PRN
Rotating Call, Rotating Holidays, and Rotating Weekends
- Responsible for performance of quality Echo and Vascular procedures and all related activities such as processing of reports, patient education and on call responsibilities.
- Provide direct patient care to patients of all ages.
- Mentor other ultrasound technologists, performing Echo / vascular procedures, to ensure quality of procedures performed within the department.
- Technologist communicates procedure diagnostic information to physician(s).
Minimum Requirements :
- Satisfactory completion of an education program in Vascular Ultrasound and / or Echocardiography. Both preferred but not required.
- Credentialing in either Vascular Ultrasound and / or Echocardiography must be obtained within 12 months after hire date.
Both licenses are preferred but not required.
Appropriate Credentials must be one of the following :
- Registered Vascular Technologist (RVT) from American Registry of Diagnostic Medical Sonography (ARDMS)
- Registered Vascular Specialist (RVS) from Cardiovascular Credentialing International (CCI)
- Registered Technologist Vascular Sonography RT(VS) ;
- Registered Diagnostic Cardiac Sonographer (RDCS) from American Registry of Diagnostic Medical Sonography (ARDMS)
- Registered Cardiac Sonographer (RCS) or Registered Congenital Cardiac Sonographer (RCCS) from Cardiovascular Credentialing International (CCI)
- Advanced Cardiac Sonographer (ACS) from Cardiovascular Credentialing International (CCI)
- Current CPR for Healthcare Providers
