Position : CNC Programmer

Type : Full-Time

Polamer Precision is seeking an aerospace manufacturing CNC Programmer with 5+ years’ experience writing CNC programs for lathe, etc.

Candidate should demonstrate strong time management skills with the ability to effectively coordinate multiple projects.

Job Qualifications & Responsibilities

• Demonstrate proficiency with MasterCam.
• Experience in using Solid Works or NX is desired
• Ability to read engineering prints, including the ability to understand GD&T
• Develop work-holding fixtures
• Must be able to select speeds, feeds, and tooling grades for high temperature alloys. Nickel and Titanium
• Ability to read and understand G-code
• Comfort splicing new code into existing programs with obsolete CAM files
• Integrate work with Production, Quality, Purchasing and Scheduling Department to ensure a smooth flow of quality products through the factory
• Familiarity with post processor modifications desired. Hands on or from project management side
• Familiarity with machine parameter settings / synchronization desired
• History of using Vericut verification software desired
• Familiarity with macro style programming of touch probes and tool sensors highly desired Software : Unigraphics, NX, MasterCam, Cadkey, Vericut, Gibbs, Surfcam, AutoCad, Inventor, CAMworks, HyperMill, SolidCAM, SolidWorks, NREC
• Perform other duties as assigned
