SEACORP is seeking a well-qualified Inventory Clerk II .
Primary Duties and Responsibilities :
Job Summary : This position is in the SEACORP Groton office supporting allprogram areas at the facility by implementing the Receiving portion ofSEACORP’s Government Property Procedures.
The Inventory Clerk acts as Custodianof all incoming assets and ensures procedural compliance for inventory controlin the eQuip database.
The Inventory Clerk will also act as Custodian of assetsthat are scheduled for Shipping and Plant Clearance. This position is part ofthe Government Property team of SEACORP’s Contracts Department.
Job Responsibilities include :
- Sign for receipt of deliveries and take custody ofincoming assets.
- Receive, track, and distribute electronic andmechanical components / parts.
- Prepare items for shipment.
- Learn and implement SEACORP’s standard procedures forReceipt of Government Property.
- Work closely with SEACORP’s Government Property Managerto ensure continued compliance with FAR / DFARS rules for handling and tracking GovernmentProperty.
- Maintain inventory records in eQuip Asset Tracking software.
- Ensure proper inventory and inspection for receipt isperformed prior to transferring assets to requestors.
- Must be amenable to procurement-related work as needsarise.
Qualifications :
Education : High school diploma or equivalent.
Experience : Inventorymanagement experience desirable, but not necessary for a trainable candidate.
- Skills are required in MS Office Suite (e.g. Word, Excel).
- Must be able to learn database management software systems.
- Must be detail-oriented and self-motivated with a desire to learn new skills.
- Must possess strong organizational skills.
- Must be available to work in office during normaloperating hours.
- Must be self-motivated and productive with a low degreeof direct supervision.
As a requirement of employment, all SEACORP employees must hold U.S. Citizenship

Travel : Quarterly (approximately 4 times a year)
Clearance : Secret
