Job Title : Welder
Job Description
We are seeking a skilled and proficient Welder with experience in MIG welding. The ideal candidate will have the ability to layout, position, and secure plasma and cut parts using a straightedge, and perform welding in various positions including vertical up, vertical down, horizontal, and overhead.
This role requires lifting up to 50 pounds and the ability to read and interpret CAD drawings.
Responsibilities
- Perform MIG welding with high proficiency.
- Layout, position, and secure plasma and cut parts using straightedge.
- Weld in multiple positions : vertical up, vertical down, horizontal, and overhead.
- Read and interpret CAD drawings accurately.
- Lift and maneuver parts weighing up to 50 pounds.
Essential Skills
- Proficiency in MIG welding.
- Ability to read and interpret CAD drawings.
- Experience with layout and positioning of plasma and cut parts.
- Capability to weld in various positions including vertical up, vertical down, horizontal, and overhead.
- Physical ability to lift and handle 50 pounds.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
- Experience with stainless steel fabrication and fitting.
- Skill in reading blueprints.

Work Environment
The facility is temperature-controlled with music playing over speakers throughout the shift. PPE and tools are provided as needed, including work gloves, protective glasses, and hearing protection.
Steel-toed boots are required and must be provided by the employee. Our clean and organized facility has been recently updated with new restrooms, office spaces, and a paved parking lot.
The shift is from 7 : 00 am to 3 : 30 pm with little to no overtime currently.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Sheridan, Indiana.
