About us : Healthy Minds (HM) is a growing boutique mental health practice. HM uses holistic and cognitive-behavioral interventions to empower our clients.

We specialize in helping our clients navigate life transitions, trauma, and interpersonal relationships. HM is a safe space that serves everyone, with a primary clientele in communities of color.

About the position : This position is ideal for a bilingual (Spanish preferred) candidate who is motivated, passionate, warm, and would like to transition from clinic or agency work to private practice.

You will learn the foundations of starting a private practice i.e. navigating insurance payments, marketing, and finding your desired population.

The therapist will facilitate psychotherapy sessions with individuals, couples, and / or families. Supervision and training will be provided in cognitive behavioral and trauma-focused therapy lenses.

A yearly stipend for continuing education units will be provided as well. The position will be compensated on a fee-for-service basis.

About our ideal candidate :

• LMHC
• Licensed in either NY, PA, FL
• Post-graduate experience assessing and treating adolescents and adults
• Warm, friendly, competent, and intelligent
• Team player; ability to collaborate in clinical roundtable discussions
• An interest in creating their own space in the private practice sector

Responsibilities :

• Facilitate psychotherapy sessions independently
• Complete official session notes and treatment plans required in a timely manner
• Utilize and analyze clinical diagnostic tools
• Provide resources, referrals, and general guidance to clients during any emergency situation
• Provide consultation calls to potential clients
• Track sessions and payments
• Market / advertise your services to your desired population
• Create and manage your schedule
