JOB DESCRIPTION
We are looking to hire an experienced English Instructor to be responsible for planning and delivering engaging English lessons to our 1st - 8th grade students.
Our instructor will be assisting in teaching conversational English, Phonics, Reading Comprehension, Vocabulary, and Writing.
This is an exciting opportunity for a passionate and experienced English educator to make a positive impact on students' language acquisition and help them achieve their language learning goals.
This is a Flexible, Part-Time, in-person opportunity.
QUALIFICATIONS :
- Bachelor’s degree in English, Education or any related field (required)
- Master's degree in English, Education or related field from an accredited college or university (preferred)
- 1 year experience as an English instructor or tutor (required)
- Successful track record of developing student’s knowledge in learning English (required)
- Professional communication skills (both spoken and written)
- Competent in Microsoft Office products (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.)
- Able to work independently and collaborate with a team
- Enthusiastic about working with students and parents
- Able to maintain strict confidentiality
- Highly organized and detail oriented (attention to detail and accuracy is imperative)
- Ability to meet schedules and deadlines
- Good judgement and decision-making abilities
- Good problem-solving skills

JOB DUTIES :
- Deliver interactive and engaging English lessons that promote the development of speaking, listening, reading, and writing skills.
- Assess students' progress through regular evaluations, including tests, assignments, and participation, and provide constructive feedback to support their language development.
- Provide homework help as needed
- Able to lead a classroom of students effectively and work efficiently with students
- Good classroom management skills
Office Hours : Monday - Friday 2p-8p and Saturday 9am-5pm
