Experience in Scope Processing using Medivator AER and Olympus OER
Duties : Sterile processing duties according to the lead technicians. Reprocesses and assembles specialized instruments and equipment, .
washes instruments / equipment, prepares them for sterilization, sterilizes trays and instruments; operates specialized washers and sterilizers according to designated procedures.
Maintains the instruments to ensure high performance during surgical procedures; inspects / tests performance of specialized instruments and equipment;
lubricates items in accordance with designated cleaning and instrument preparation instructions. Documents required information and maintains required records.
Sets up case carts for surgical procedures. Ensures correct inventory and restocks equipment and supplies as needed. Assists with preparation of equipment, instruments and supplies.
Operates / troubleshoots equipment used for job functions, seeks assistance as needed; reports hazardous conditions, malfunctioning equipment, accidents or other incidents to the immediate supervisor.
Participates in performance improvement activities and meetings as assigned. Participates in training, educational activities, and staff meetings and assist with the orientation and training of other personnel.
Certifications : HS Diploma or GED required. Central Service Technician Certification
