Overview :
Performs mammography examinations, diagnostic studies, and needle localizations. Evaluates radiographs for diagnostic quality and obtains additional images as needed.
Job Responsbilites :
- Patient & Room Preparation : This task includes entering / verfiying patient data into PACS and other appropriate computer systems as necessary.
- Obtain Mammographic analog / digital images as well as other images.
- Conduct labeling of all mammographic / radiographic images
- Maintain all necessary records etc. logging patient data in log book and perform tasks relasted to MQSA
- Assist physician during biopsy procedures as needed
Education / Training Requirements :
- Assocaites Degree (Preferred) / High School Diploma / GED ( Required)
- Satisfactory completion of an accredited Radiologic Technology program and meets the requirements for certification by the ARRT
- Licensed by the State of New York
