Responsibilities of the Accounts Receivable Manager :

• Leadership and Management : Oversee the Accounts Receivable department, creating and improving operational goals, developing, and streamlining processes, and supervising, training, and developing staff.
• Financial Oversight : Handle billing, collections, receipts, and collaborate with other departments such as sales. Manage aging reports and administer collections policies.
• Process Improvement : Evaluate the effectiveness of existing processes and controls, and design and implement new procedures to enhance efficiency and productivity.
• Team Development : Manage and develop team members, providing coaching, feedback, and growth opportunities. Foster accountability and build organizational capacity.
• Account Monitoring : Consistently review the status of aged and delinquent accounts, discuss resolutions with the team, and recommend new repayment terms when necessary.

Requirements for the Accounts Receivable Manager :

• Experience : 10+ years of high-volume Accounts Receivable experience, with at least 5 years in a supervisory role.
• Process Improvement : Proven experience in successfully implementing process improvements in Accounts Receivable.
• Technical Skills : Proficiency in Excel, including pivot tables and VLOOKUPs.
• Education : A BS degree is preferred but not required.
• Industry Knowledge : Experience in the manufacturing industry is a plus but not mandatory.
