Nesco Resource is looking for a Quality Assurance Technician in Waterbury, CT. This is a direct placement for the right candidate.
Schedule : Monday- Thursday from 6 : 30 AM to 3 : 30 PM and Friday from 6 : 30 AM to 12 : 30 PM. There is a rotating schedule where one employee will cover on Friday afternoon's every 3-4 weeks.
Pay : $23.00-$26.00 / hour depending on experience.
Duties & Responsibilities :
- Select, issue, & calibrate gages
- Create inspection plans & reports
- Implement processes to assure product quality
- Compile & analyze statistical data
- Advise others on technical matters
- Document inspection findings on reports & records
- Communicate with others on technical matters
- Inspect small precision parts for visual, dimensional, & functional requirements
- Instruct other employees in quality subjects
- Complete all other duties as assigned
Qualifications :
- Knowledge of gauging equipment & techniques
- Proficiency using various precision measuring instruments
- Experience reading & interpreting technical drawings (including GD&T)
- Ability to follow test procedures & work instructions
- Knowledge of manufacturing processes
- Promote process Improvement
- Analytical skills
- Knowledge of Microsoft Windows, Excel, Word, & Outlook
- Must have strong attention to detail
- Must be organized and thorough
- Ability to work independently & with others
- Able to develop & maintain good interpersonal relationships
- Desire for excellence
- Must be reliable and responsible
