Description
We are seeking a Cloud Solution Architect to lead systems engineering activities and provide technical leadership for our Aeronautical Task Order in support of the National Geospatial-Intelligence Agency (NGA).
The ideal candidate will have a proven track record collaborating with customers and stakeholders, bridging the communication gap between technical and non-technical specialists.
Additionally, the candidate must possess strong expertise in cloud environments including AWS Virtual Machines (EC2s) and Platform as a Service (PaaS) with Kubernetes and OpenShift.
This role requires providing strategic recommendations, leading architectural designs, and driving implementation for technical solutions across the Aeronautical Task Order.
The Cloud Solution Architect will be instrumental in optimizing cloud infrastructure and communicating architectural decisions to executive management and the team.

Primary Responsibilities
- Lead systems engineering activities for integrating, modernizing, and deploying IT capabilities using remote desktop and cloud technologies
- Become a subject matter expert for the Aero baseline and supporting programs, effectively communicating system features, architecture, and limitations to diverse audiences
- Review current architecture diagrams to identify dependencies and connections with other programs and databases
- Collaborate with program technical leadership on the system architecture roadmap and backlog aligned to customer's technology strategy and vision
