We Need :
A solid, experienced, property manager with a Pennsylvania real estate license and experience supporting the accounting activities of a property management company.
Responsibilities include the following :
- Ensure all rent is collected as due and that everything is posted correctly
- Ensures all unit, move-in, move-out and other leasing data is entered correctly and in a timely manner into the on-site property management software system
- Ensure all required inspections are scheduled and completed
- Assist with financial administrative and accounting tasks
- Assist with processing AR / AP items
- Make sure issues are dealt with in a timely manner and that proper follow-through is done
- Manage and distribute all tenant correspondence, including late payment notices
- Manage all maintenance requests entered on the software system
- Advertise, schedule appointments and lease available apartments / homes
- Other duties as assigned
Candidate Background and Qualifications :
- Proficiency in Word and Excel is required
- Prior experience with Appfolio real estate property management software is strongly preferred
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Entrepreneurial mindset, a self-starter who can function independently, and as part of a small team
- Proactive, detail-oriented work habits with a commitment to a high-quality work product
- Highly organized, detail-oriented
- Excellent record-keeping and file maintenance
- Works with a sense of urgency including the ability to oversee multiple projects
- Must have a valid driver's license and vehicle
- Accounting and / or finance experience very beneficial
- Real estate license preferred
This job requires frequent trips to the rental properties under our care. A valid driver's license and reliable vehicle are required.
Candidates with former property management and leasing experience would be preferred.
Great potential for advancement within the property management company.
This is a salaried role. Salary will depend on experience. Benefits and a 401K are available.
